Free parking is available across the street from the Mounted Horse Patrol Barn in the ConAgra lot.
We will be practicing Coronavirus safety. Please plan to wear a mask before and after the stampede. Runners/Walkers will not be required to wear their masks when running/walking in the event.
Packets can be picked up at Christie Heights Rec Center (5105 S. 37th Street) on Friday Afternoon 1-6:00 p.m. or on the day of the race prior to 8:00 a.m. near the race start.
All participants will receive a t-shirt in their race packet. ½ Marathon participants will receive a medal at the finish of the race.
We will have water stations on the route where individual 8-ounce bottles of water will be available. Please feel free to bring your own drink for the event. Refreshments and snacks will be handed out after the event and will be placed in individual bags to keep everyone safe.
We will start the ½ Marathon at 8:00 a.m. and will start the 5K at 8:15 a.m.

The 1/2 Marathon Course will be an Out and Back Run
Starting at the Omaha Police Department Mounted Horse Barn we will travel to/through Lauritzen Gardens, travel to Levee South, take the Levee up to Gibson Road and Bike trail. We will then proceed to/through Mt. Vernon Gardens, through wooded areas to Mandan Park, and then back.
